Forest Pines Golf Club Local Rules – in Addition to those of the R&A

FPClub-Logo-Small1 - OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule27)
a) Beyond any wall, fence, hedge or white stakes defining the boundaries of the course.
b) The practice ground to the left and rear of Forest 9th hole as defined by white stakes and adjoining white lines
c) To the rear of Pines 9th hole as defined by white stakes and adjoining white line.

2 - WATER HAZARDS (Rule 26-1)
a) Water Hazards are identified by yellow stakes and defined by yellow lines. Lateral Water Hazards are identified by red stakes and defined by red lines.

3 - GROUND UNDER REPAIR (Rule 25-1)
a) The Turf Nursery to the right of the Forest 1st hole - Must take relief
b) Temporary Greens as marked - Must take relief
c) Any area bounded by a white line
d) Vehicle tyre ruts. (note - this does not include feint impressions)

4 - IMMOVEABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 24-2)
a) All artificially surfaced paths and roads
b) Jogging Trail - defined by wooden posts with orange tops
c) Staked trees
d) Steps leading into bunkers (note - these are deemed out of the bunker)
e) Irrigation control boxes and sprinkler heads
f) Yardage discs on the fairway

5 - MOVEABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 24-1)
a) Stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions
b) 150 yard marker posts

6 - INTEGRAL PARTS OF THE COURSE
a) Bridges

7 - FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS
In addition, if such and obstruction on or within 2 club lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief as follows. If a ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within 2 club lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point where the ball lay which a) is not nearer the hole. b) avoids such intervention and c) not in a hazard or on a putting green.

Match play, Loss of Hole - Stroke Play, Two Strokes

DISTANCE MEASUREMENTS ON THE COURSE
Wooden 150 Yard Posts - to the centre of the green. Discs on the fairway to the centre of the green - Red 100 yards, Yellow 150 yards, White 200 yards.

White Tees - Members & Competition. Yellow Tees - Members & Visitors. Red Tees - Ladies

DRESS CODE
Applies at all times as displayed in the Golf Shop and the Halfway Lodge

Please do not enter the lakes to retrieve golf balls
